1) Is there a car park in the Hotel?

Yes. Please check in and the front office staff will direct you to our private locked car park. Our private car park is small and can only provide parking for about 20 cars. Availability of the car park lots is on a first come first served basis. We seek your kind understanding on this matter.

Please note that parking at the car park is at your own risk. While the Hotel will take all the precautions it can to ensure the security of the car park, we are not responsible for the cars and the contents of the cars using the car park.

 

2) Can I park my car along the road in front of the Hotel?

Yes you can. However in addition to parking your vehicle in the parking lots drawn along the road, you will also need to buy a parking coupon which will have to be displayed on your vehicle dashboard.

Parking coupons have to be displayed from 9 am to 5 pm every day except Monday, Tuesday and public holidays. Failure to display a parking coupon may result in a fine by the local traffic police.

Please note that the Hotel is not responsible for parking offences. Parking coupons can be purchased from our Security Desk at the entrance of the Hotel or ask at our Reception Desk.

 

3) How do I make a reservation?

You can make a room reservation by any of the following methods:

  • Use our secure booking page on our website for instant confirmation.
  • Book from our FaceBook page. Click on "Book room" tab.
  • Send us a message with your required dates and room type.
  • Call the Hotel directly at +606 282 5588.

All reservations must be guaranteed either by credit card or by payment of a deposit.

4) Are credit cards accepted? How do I pay?

All major credit cards (VISA, American Express and Mastercard) are accepted. You may pay by credit card or cash at the Hotel on checking out.

If you book online from our website, in addition to accepting credit cards listed above, we also accept online bank transfers (Malaysian banks only).

5) What are the Check in and Check out times?

Check in time is at 3:00 pm. Check out time is 12 noon.

 

6) What are the deposit and cancellation charges?

7) Is breakfast included in the room rate quote?

Yes, breakfast is included in the room rates quoted on our website.

All rates include breakfast for 2 people.

Triple room rates include breakfast for 3 people.

Quad room and family suite rates include breakfast for 4 people.

The rate for an extra bed also includes breakfast for one person.

 

8) Are toiletries provided in the rooms?

Yes, a range of toiletries like soap, shampoo, conditioners, toothbrushes, etc are provided in all rooms. For other provisions in the room, please see this page.

 

9) Does the Hotel provide city tours?

The Hotel can arrange for city tours on behalf of our guests.

 

10) Is the Hotel in the city?

The Hotel is in the city center, in the heart of historical Malacca. Most places of historical interest are within walking distance of the Hotel.

 

11) How far is the bus station from the Hotel?

The Hotel is about 15 minutes by taxi from the Bus Terminal.

 

12) How far is the train station from the Hotel?

The nearest train station is at Tampin. It takes about 45 minutes by taxi from the train station to the Hotel.

 

13) Do you have directions for guests who are driving?

Driving directions from the Ayer Keroh exit off the North South Highway to the Hotel.

 

14) What are the approximate travelling times to Malacca?

If you are driving, Malacca is about 3 hours from Singapore, about 2 hours from Kuala Lumpur and about 1 hour 45 minutes from KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport).

Express buses are also available from Singapore at the Lavender Street bus terminal.

The bus journey takes approximately 4 hours.

 

15) Does the Hotel have internet access?

The Hotel's internet access is provided via a dedicated leased line which offers very fast download and upload speeds.

Wireless broadband internet access is also available free of charge in the lobby, cafe, garden areas and in all rooms for guests who bring their own laptop computers, mobile phones or other wireless devices.

 

16) Is the Jonker Street night market near the Hotel?

The weekend night market is situated on a parallel road just behind our Hotel.

You can reach it easily by a 3 minute walk from the Hotel's main entrance.

The road (Jonker Street) where the weekend night market is located is closed to vehicular traffic in the evenings every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
