| Tatachilla Keystone Grenache |
Made from dry-grown McLaren Vale vines, this style is Australia's answer to Chateaunuef-du-Pape. The colour is deep and full of promise. The floral, raspberry like aroma of young grenache is here in full force and the shiraz puts in a spicy element. |
| Miranda High Country Merlot |
This is a light, stylish red that drinks well now. The colour is a mid cherry red and the nose has herbaceous aromas plus raspberry smells. The palate has more raspberry and there is some evidence of green herbs. |
| Chateau Tahbilk Shiraz |
There is a hint of old times, yet the wine has become a smidgin more contemporary. The wine has a strong, brick red colour and the nose is full of berries and spices. There is also an element of polished timber a la gentlepersons' clubs. The palate is medium bodied with berry and liquorice flavours that are teamed with soft wood and fine grained tannins. |
| Chateau Tahbilk Cabernet Sauvignon |
A complex , enjoyable style that entertains in spite of the modest alcohol. The colour is a deep brick red and the nose is a savoury mix of berries and oak. The palate is youthful and lively, with blackberry, capsicum and aniseed flavours that are matched by gentle tannins and discreet oak. |

| Tatachilla Clarendon Vineyard Riesling |
A remarkably forward riesling but also a good one. The colour remains light yellow, the bouquet flows with floral and herbal aromas, and there are tart limes on the palate. Juicy and balanced with fresh acid. |
| Delfarras Sauvignon Blanc |
Passionfruit, pineapple, nectarine - a very tropical style with touches of green herbs, and a palate that is stacked full of soft fruit heightened by a tickle of sweetness. |
| Woodstock Semillion Sauvignon Blanc |
A fresh fruity style that is great summer drinking. The sauvignon blanc component has a strong peapod character, and there are straw and gooseberry smells. The medium bodied palate has a hint of sweetness in the tropical fruit mix. |
| Tapestry McLaren Vale Chardonnay |
This is part of the Merrivale portfolio, which has its roots in the Southern Vale district. There is an attractive mixture of wood and fruit. The major flavour is peach and there are some ripened melon flavours. The wood adds a graceful note and dry elements to the finish. |
